Everything you enter into the application remains strictly on your device.

3. Local Data Storage

All financial data you enter into Cointrail is stored locally on your device using an internal database. We do not transmit your transaction history, memos, or categories to any external servers or cloud services.

4. Device Information

We do not collect specific device identifiers, IP addresses, or hardware information. The app only interacts with standard Android system features to provide a smooth user experience (such as showing the keyboard or opening links).

5. App Permissions

Cointrail requires minimal permissions to operate. We do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

6. Third-Party Services

To maintain your privacy, Cointrail does not use:

• Third-party Analytics (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics).
• Crash Reporting tools that send data off-device.
• Advertising SDKs or trackers.
• Cloud Sync or Authentication providers.

When you click "Rate the app" or "Privacy Policy" in the settings, Cointrail uses standard Android intents to open the Google Play Store or your system browser. These external platforms have their own privacy policies.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your data is stored locally, it remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can delete individual entries within the app at any time. If you uninstall Cointrail, all locally stored data will be removed by the Android system.

8. Data Security

We rely on the standard security features provided by the Android operating system to protect the data stored on your device. We recommend using device-level security (such as a PIN or biometric lock) to prevent unauthorized access to your phone and the Cointrail app.

9. Children's Privacy

Cointrail is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.
